Job Description
Robot Automation Engineer
The Robot Automation Engineer will work on the development of automation projects assigned by the Supervisor. This engineer will train the Robot Technicians in the new equipment that is being developed for their best performance, and he will also train the new Technicians who enter the Robots Area. It will also identify new applications of Robotics or Automatic Processes to simplify current processes.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to define sensor, computing, network, and redundancy requirements.
- Work on automation projects assigned by the person in charge of the Area.
- Identify new Automation applications to simplify current processes.
- Train robot technicians, set up and test robot automation cell.
- Record and report any behavioral or hardware issues arising from checks or tests.
