Automation Engineer – Waterville, Nova Scotia. Michelin North America (Canada) Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, specify, purchase and construct electrical automation systems and components. The candidate will manage projects, create technical specifications, analyze, install, start‑up equipment, and meet plant goals. Responsibilities
Provide detailed electrical design and automation programming for assigned projects. Prepare estimates and technical schedules for all phases of process equipment addition, replacement or upgrade. Provide backup support and training to plant maintenance teams on newly implemented automation systems. Collaborate with internal company support groups to accomplish objectives and provide contract engineering management and direction when needed.
