Job Description
Overview
The RAM Engineer leads and executes the implementation of Robotics, Automation, and Manufacturing Information Systems (MIS) solutions. This role serves as a key bridge between Operations and R&D, ensuring new products are manufacturable, efficient, and scalable by identifying technical risks and operational needs early in the design phase.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of automation, robotics, and digital manufacturing solutions for new product introductions.
- Manage and maintain electrical test and traceability systems.
- Support production by diagnosing equipment and automation failures, performing root cause analysis, and implementing improvements.
- Collaborate with Design (R&D) teams to evaluate manufacturability, identify technical, process, and capacity risks, and develop automation strategies aligned with cost, quality, and productivity targets.
