About the role
We’re looking for Personal Lines auto claims adjusters who have passed the AMF exams or are in the process of doing so.
Location: Montreal (2020 boulevard Robert-Bourassa), Laval (600 rue Lucien-Paiement), Quebec City (5700 boulevard des Galeries), Saint-Hyacinthe (2450 rue Girouard Ouest).
Work schedule: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday (35 hours/week).
What you’ll do here:
- Open new claims over the phone with customers, then ensure the situation is handled immediately.
- Interview insureds and/or witnesses to gather their accounts of events.
- Determine whether the claim is covered or not by analyzing the insured’s policy details.
- Analyze the information obtained, make decisions to determine liability and review damage assessments.
- Settle claims fairly and equitably, confirm damage amounts and make payments.
