Audit Senior – Cork City

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic Cork City–based team within a leading Top 10 accounting firm. This role offers exposure to varied and interesting clients, with responsibility beyond the numbers — building strong client relationships, identifying risks, and delivering meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client correspondence and agree audit timelines
  • Review work and provide feedback to junior team members
  • Manage a client portfolio where appropriate
  • Prepare planning memoranda, identify risk areas, and plan audit evidence
  • Monitor work in progress, budgets, and deadlines
  • Complete critical audit areas on selected engagements
  • Ensure statutory and tax filing deadlines are met
  • Identify opportunities for additional firm services
