Associate HSES Specialist

Job Overview: The Associate HSES Specialist works with HSES Specialists / Supervisors to leverage conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures to plan, implement and coordinate HSES programs to prevent or correct hazardous conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE leadership to field personnel and set standards of behavior
• Have a working knowledge of current HSES policies, procedures, and regulations
• Ensure company HSE policies and procedures are implemented consistently and effectively and are known and understood by all employees
• Regularly inspect work areas to identify unsafe acts and conditions and advise line management of those that cannot immediately be corrected
• Assist with incident investigations and compilation of reports
• Monitor maintenance and inspection of the lifesaving and firefighting equipment
