**The Role:** Associate Editor
**The Team:** The team is responsible for contributing to the daily publication of Platts Coal Trader, an industry leading publication covering the US thermal coal market. The team writes daily news and analysis as well as conducts daily benchmark price assessments.
**The Impact:** The role is critical to defending our brand, increasing our relevance in the market, showcasing Platts’ subject matter expertise regarding coal and related commodities such as power, natural gas and renewable energy, while also ensuring our daily benchmark price assessments are accurate. Your job is to make sense of supply and demand and how it impacts pricing, while also considering the role coal plays in ever-changing domestic and international markets.
