Job Overview
Like regular articles published across BMJ journals, supplement articles undergo a rigorous peer review process. This ensures that the research and content included are of the highest scientific quality, validity, and relevance.
While the team works across BMJ journals, including The BMJ, the focus of the role holder’s work will be supplements submitted to BMJ Global Health.
BMJ Global Health is an open access, online journal dedicated to publishing high-quality peer-reviewed content relevant to those involved in global health, including policy makers, funders, researchers, clinicians and frontline healthcare workers.
**Responsibilities**
- Review, appraise, and manage peer review for research and narrative articles using a web-based manuscript tracking system
- Liaise with authors, reviewers, and technical editors to manage revisions
- Contribute to the editorial process and collaborate on academic discussions
