Job Description
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to define project specifications and requirements
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to secure profitable agreements
- Determine and allocate resources including manpower, equipment, and materials within budget constraints from project start to finish
- Plan construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to meet project deadlines
- Acquire equipment and materials and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and delays
- Supervise laborers and mechanics, providing guidance to ensure quality and safety standards
- Identify and engage subcontractors and vendors to award subcontracts and purchase orders
- Partner with the Business Development Manager to secure new projects
- Maintain and monitor customer relations through project progress meetings, site visits, and project-related correspondence
