Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage production forecasts and planning schedules based on demand and available resources
- Coordinate with project leaders, planners, and production supervisors to prioritise work according to delivery timelines
- Manage material and production planning, including material requisition and maintenance of Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering change updates
- Confirm production orders based on material availability and production capacity
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely material delivery and prevent excess inventory buildup
- Monitor material availability to ensure smooth production continuity
- Prepare periodic reports including excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory and buy-down claims
- Ensure timely closure of production orders for accurate invoicing
- Support management with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis for decision‑making
