Job Description
Job Summary: Our client, a leader in the logistics and transportation sector, is looking for a highly experienced and motivated Assistant Operations Manager – Fuel Transport to lead and coordinate all aspects of fuel transportation operations within Tanzania and across neighboring countries (e.g., Uganda, Zambia, DRC, Rwanda, Burundi). This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of regional logistics and compliance, and the ability to manage cross-border challenges while maintaining operational efficiency and safety. Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of local and cross-border fuel transportation.
Manage the dispatching, routing, and scheduling of deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fuel distribution.
Coordinate with customs, border control, and relevant authorities for cross-border compliance.
