Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in carrying out routine inspections of marine engines, mechanical equipment, and vessel systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Support the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of engines, pumps, generators, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical equipment.
- Assist senior engineers and technicians in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Participate in the installation, testing, commissioning, and upgrading of mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance records, service reports, inspection checklists, work permits, and other engineering documentation.
- Update equipment maintenance history, spare parts inventory records, and technical documents to ensure accurate record keeping.
