Assistant Manager (Business Development) - Estimation Review tender documents, GA drawings, technical specifications, and client requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates for new vessel construction (hull, machinery, outfitting, electrical, and systems). Estimate steel weight, equipment costs, fabrication costs, and yard overheads. Coordinate with design, planning, and production departments for accurate inputs. Obtain quotations from OEMs, suppliers, and subcontractors. Prepare commercial proposals, bid documents, and price breakdowns. Analyze risks and contingencies in shipbuilding projects. Ship Repair & Refit Estimation Study repair scope, inspection reports, and dry dock specifications. Estimate costs for hull repairs, machinery overhauls, piping, electrical works, blasting and painting, and steel renewal. Coordinate with vendors for repair quotes and service costs.
