Job Description
Title: Assistant Engineer, Hull & General Fittings-Changi
Job ID: 19068
Location: Marine - 7 Benoi Road, SG
Responsibilities- Responsible for day to day steelworks supervision for preventive, corrective maintenance and modification of vessels
- Prepare, coordinate and monitor work schedule to achieve delivery deadline and targets
- Perform QC check on works
- Manage daily manpower deployment
- Perform site inspection and work discussion
- Preparation and submission of field reports / service acceptance to owner and SRM for approval
- Provide logistic support e.g indent of spares and follow up
- Maintain safe work practices
- Diploma in Mechanical or Marine engineering field
- Preferably with 2-5 years’ working experience in marine related industry
- Knowledge of ship repairs, steelworks, fabrication worksand NDT will be advantageous
