Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Controller to join a growing finance team within a project-based skilled services environment in North York. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will play a key part in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and leading a team of accounting professionals.
This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys mentoring others, driving process improvements, and contributing to the strategic growth of an organization.
Salary: $95,000 - $115,000
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Controller in overseeing the organization's accounting and financial operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Review and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
