Salary: £21,200-£23,540 depending on experience. Permanent contract. 30 hours per week (3 x 7:30am-6pm, alternate weekends). £1,000 welcome bonus.
Job Description
Oakcroft House provides nursing, residential and short‑stay care. The role is based in a community focused home that value resident independence and wellbeing. The assistant chef supports the kitchen team in delivering daily meals, special events and seasonal activities to a wide range of residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Use passion for cooking and fresh ingredients to create varied, nutritional menus meeting residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
- Propose ideas to enhance the dining experience and help residents feel at home.
