Job Description
Assistant Chef – Blenheim Court, Liss
Salary: £12.79 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in the efficient and economical operation of the catering department in line with policies and budgets.
- Ensure that all food safety standards are met and maintained in the care home.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events and dietary accommodations for residents as needed.
- Coordinate and communicate with residents and relatives to ensure satisfaction and the needs of everyone are met and exceeded through continual feedback.
- Follow instructions from the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Have a creative flair for menu planning and recipe development.
