Cornell College invites applications for the position of assistant athletic trainer. The assistant athletic trainer assists the head athletic trainer in all aspects of the athletic training program, including the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. The position also assists with the supervision of the sports medicine assistants and the supervision and operation of the training room. The position is full-time, 10 months with working dates of August 1 - May 31.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Prevention of athletic injuries/illnesses.
* Evaluation of athletic injuries/illnesses and medical referral.
* First aid and emergency care of athletic injuries/illnesses.
* Rehabilitation and reconditioning of athletic injuries/illnesses.
* Counseling and guidance of athletes.
