Job Description
Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an established organisation based in Radley (Abingdon) to recruit an Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will receive a salary of up to £47,000 plus attractive benefits including hybrid remote working and free lunch!
Primary responsibilities;
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the purchase and sales ledger functions.
- Process supplier invoices, credit notes and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with HMRC requirements.
- Ensure VAT is accounted for correctly across all transactions.
- Manage daily banking activities, including processing receipts and payments.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
