Become a vital part of CBC North as an Assignment Producer in Yellowknife. Lead the late shift to bring compelling news coverage and mentor a team of reporters to connect with Canadian audiences.
CBC/Radio-Canada seeks an experienced journalist for a permanent, full-time role in Yellowknife. This position demands a strong background in journalistic standards and expertise in producing multiplatform stories for radio and digital formats. You will coordinate breaking news and manage the production process, all while fostering teamwork and creativity among your peers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the late shift from 1 pm to 9:45 pm
• Develop, edit, and vet news stories
