Job Summary
CN is seeking an Asset Manager to join its Real Estate (Estate) team in Concord, ON. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of CN’s real estate portfolio across Central Canada.
The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of real estate contract law and industry practices, along with experience in a corporate real estate environment managing a large land portfolio or within a real estate law firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact with tenants
- Prepare real review, and negotiate real estate agreements, including leases and land sale contracts
- Administer the lease portfolio, including new, renewals, rent reviews, assignments, cancellations and environmental matters
- Review and oversee land sale transactions, including review of site plans, surveys, titles, and encumbrances, and coordinate closings with legal counsel
