The Asset Disposal Supervisor is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of retiring company assets across 2GO’s nationwide operations. This role ensures that the disposal of various assets is conducted in a manner that maximizes financial recovery, ensures 100% regulatory and environmental compliance, and maintains the integrity of the Fixed Asset Register.
Responsibilities
- Process accreditation of bidders and service providers to ensure of their capability to join bids.
- Review and analyze completeness of information on the approved Certificate for Disposal (CFD).
- Validate and inspect actual items/assets on the approved CFD prior to receiving.
- Conduct actual bid proceedings and negotiate when necessary.
- Handles sourcing/disposal of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste collection.
- Process request for payment of approved bids and ensure correct booking.
