Sandvik is a Global Leader of OEM Manufactured Underground Mining Equipment. Our Winnipeg ITH (In-the-hole) Center of Excellence is the Global OEM Manufacturer of our Underground ITH Drills and Support units.
Position
We are hiring a Production Assembler for Heavy Equipment. This role is well suited for entry-level mechanics or hands-on, mechanically inclined learners who want to build real experience in heavy equipment manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Assembly/sub-assembly work of a machine: modules, electrics, hydraulics, cabin, etc.
- Visual inspection of the quality and validity of the delivered materials for the work.
- Use hand and power tools to assemble or repair parts and products.
- Interpret technical documents such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
- Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
