Overview

The primary function of this role is to assemble new hydraulic pumps, motors and generators. The applicant must be able to interpret drawings and have the necessary skills to build aerospace products with the use of an SOP. Other duties include involvement in 5S and lean manufacturing activities and, at times, participation in 8D investigations.

An Aerospace qualification or other similar manufacturing assembly qualification would be advantageous. The applicant must be diligent and able to work to small tolerances as well as gain a stamp to sign off their work to confirm it has been completed in accordance with all relevant specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble new hydraulic pumps, motors and generators
• Interpret drawings and build aerospace products using SOPs
• Participate in 5S and lean manufacturing activities
• Contribute to 8D investigations as required
