Job Title: Assembly Engineer

Job Description

The Assembly Engineer supports automotive manufacturing operations by driving safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements within the assembly area. This role collaborates with cross-functional engineering and production teams to design, implement, and optimize tooling, fixtures, equipment, and processes. The Assembly Engineer investigates complex production issues, leads change management activities, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to ensure vehicles are built to design specifications and key performance targets are consistently met.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support to the production shop to help achieve key performance indicators for safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

Supply appropriate tooling, jigs, equipment, and resources to production so that vehicles are built to meet design specifications.
