Step into a pivotal role as an Assay Lab Lead Hand at Coeur Mining's Rainy River site in Ontario. Oversee operations, train staff, and ensure quality standards in both day and night shifts.
This position, reporting to the Assay Lab Supervisor, is essential for supervising day-to-day operations and crew support. You will leverage your expertise in sample preparation, fire assay, wet lab, instrumentation, and regulatory compliance to ensure optimal lab performance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and document toolbox meetings daily
• Enter INX reports and daily mill stats accurately
• Enforce safety guidelines and PPE compliance
• Review crew schedules and manage QA-QC protocols
• Conduct health and safety meetings as necessary
Requirements:
• Previous assay lab experience in all areas
• Leadership experience is advantageous
