Job Description


This is a key operational leadership role with responsibility for the safe, efficient and reliable operation of Breedon’s asphalt plants across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will oversee production, plant maintenance, people performance and regulatory compliance, while working closely with Contracts and Technical teams to ensure asphalt products are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading asphalt production across all three plants, ensuring operational, contractual and customer requirements are met.
  • Ensuring plant and equipment are operated safely and supported by effective planned and preventative maintenance.
  • Coordinating production requirements with Contracts Managers, including occasional work outside normal operating hours.
  • Leading, supporting and developing site teams, ensuring roles, responsibilities and performance expectations are clear.
