Job Description
Embark on a summer internship as an Asphalt Lab Technician, assisting in critical testing operations from May to August. Experience a supportive, safety-first work environment.
This role targets students currently enrolled in a Chemical or Civil Technologist Diploma program. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting asphalt product tests, extracting recycled materials, and observing safety protocols. Help foster a culture of safety while working collaboratively with your team.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Assist in diverse asphalt product testing tasks
ā¢ Recover materials from recycled asphalt sources
ā¢ Comply with safety and environmental standards
ā¢ Identify hazards and propose elimination strategies
ā¢ Promote a proactive safety culture in the workplace
Requirements:
ā¢ Enrolled in a relevant diploma program
ā¢ Must hold a valid Driverās License
ā¢ Proficient in QC Software and MS Office applications
ā¢ Excellent communication skills required
