Job Description
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AS400 / IBM i development .
- Strong hands‑on experience with:
- RPG / RPGLE / RPG IV
- CL / CLLE Programming
- SQLRPGLE
- DB2 for i / DB2-400
- DDS (Data Description Specifications)
- Experience with AS400 development tools such as:
- RDi (Rational Developer for i)
- SEU
- SDA
- IBM Access Client Solutions (ACS)
- Strong knowledge of application maintenance, enhancement, and production support.
- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and problem resolution.
- Good understanding of banking, insurance, manufacturing, or enterprise applications is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with COBOL/400, Synon/CA 2E, TurnOver, Aldon.
- Knowledge of APIs, web services, XML/JSON integration.
