We, at Coforge, are hiring for an AS400 DB2 IBM Series Engineer.
Data Export & Automation
- Ability to automate recurring data export jobs
- Experience with integration to external systems
System Maintenance
- Capable of maintaining and enhancing existing AS400 applications
Problem Solving
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Technical Skills
- AS400 (IBM iSeries): Proven hands‑on experience with IBM's midrange system platform
- Familiarity with DB2 for i (native AS400 database)
- Experience in data export to external databases or platforms
- RPG IV / ILE: Strong programming skills in modern RPG
- COBOL: Proficiency in legacy COBOL applications
- CL (Control Language): Expertise in scripting for job control and automation
