Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years' experience as an Artisan Assistant, Engineering Assistant or in a similar engineering support role within the mining industry.
- Previous underground mining experience.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience using engineering hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance, fabrication and engineering workshop practices.
- Medically fit to work on a mine site.
- Basic understanding of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA).
- Ability to work shifts, overtime and standby when required.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual work in a mining environment.
- Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
