Overview
***This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP***
The Archeologist is responsible for aiding in implementing a compliant TO Kwajalein USA-KA Environmental Standards (UES) Archaeological program under Historical and Cultural Resource protocols for Kwajalein Atoll Marshall Islands under LCV. Performs regulatory compliance activities applicable to UES environmental protection associated with Cultural and National Resource management. Works with Senior Archeologist to oversees the collection, recording and interpretation of archeological data in field and coordinates laboratory processing and analysis activities. This position works with supervision to identify needed resources (such as personal protective equipment) and budget for resources, identifies required training for employees in various operations, performs various documented report submissions per UES, other regulatory body requirements.
