Job Description
Apprentice Machining Technician – Level 3 (3.5 year programme)
Location: Meridian Business Park, LE19 1WH.
Working Hours: 7.30 AM – 4.15 PM Monday–Thursday, 12 noon Friday. One weekday is reserved for attendance at Leicester College.
Responsibilities
- Learn and apply CNC milling, turning, grinding, hot forging, and thread rolling techniques.
- Assist with technical machining tutoring and participate in manufacturing processes.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, adhering to quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Real interest in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem‑solving methodology with a practical, hands‑on approach.
- Team player, honest, trustworthy, self‑motivated, conscientious, and punctual.
