Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements for layout.
- Weld large and small components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipes.
- Use specialized machines for industrial welding and monitor machines that perform similar work.
- Maintain and repair all machines.
- Evaluate surfaces, structures, and components to be welded to identify defects.
- Follow and enforce strict safety rules such as wearing heat‑resistant gloves, protective masks, and protective shoes.
- Monitor machinery for proper use and temperature. Solder flat, vertical, and overhead components.
