Job Description
Role Mission
The DevOps & Application Engineer will design, automate, and optimize the build-and-release ecosystem while ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of StarHub’s cloud-native platforms. They will manage Kubernetes operations, infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows, while contributing production‑grade application code across multiple languages. This role accelerates engineering velocity by driving DevOps best practices, strengthening observability, and enabling consistent, high‑quality deployments across the IS Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce DevOps policies and best practices, with a strong focus on trunk‑based development (short‑lived feature branches, continuous integration gates, automated code‑quality checks).
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins using Pipeline‑as‑Code (shared libraries, scripted & declarative).
