About the role
As a Senior Apigee Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and governing enterprise‑grade APIs while ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with API standards. You will be a valued member of the API Engineering & Integration team and work collaboratively with application teams, API providers, DevOps engineers, and platform teams.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and manage APIs on Apigee using manual and pipeline‑based deployment models
- Build and configure API proxies, shared flows, and policies aligned with enterprise standards
- Perform API enhancements, version upgrades, and ensure backward compatibility
- Conduct PR reviews to enforce governance, security, naming conventions, and environment configurations
- Deploy and support APIs across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, PROD) while troubleshooting performance and production issues
