SUMMARY:
The Mayor's Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is the New York City government's chief financial agency. OMB's staff of analysts and experts assembles and oversees the Mayor's expense and capital budgets, which fund the services and activities of approximately 90 City agencies and entities.
The OMB-Managed Grants Task Force works with city, state, and federal agencies to help New York City recover from the lasting impacts of Hurricane Sandy, COVID-19, Tropical Storm Isaias, Tropical Storm Ida, and Tropical Storm Ophelia, as well as other federally declared disaster events.
