Job Description

The Airfield Driving Program Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the Airfield Driving Program (ADP) at Al Udeid Air Base. This role ensures the safe, compliant, and effective operation of vehicles and equipment on the airfield in accordance with Air Force, DoD, host-nation, and installation-specific regulations. The manager serves as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for airfield driving operations and provides leadership, training oversight, and compliance management for all authorized airfield drivers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead and manage the installation Airfield Driving Program in accordance with applicable Air Force Instructions (AFIs), DoD directives, and local operating procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all airfield driving matters.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce airfield driving policies, procedures, and standard operating instructions (SOIs).
