Job Description
Join WestJet as the Fleet Transaction Tech Manager, overseeing critical aircraft transactions with a focus on compliance and negotiation. This in-person role is integral in managing fleet lifecycle activities.
As a key player in the Fleet Leasing and Transactions department, you will facilitate and execute various aircraft-related transactions. Your role involves collaboration with operational teams, management of redelivery processes, and enforcement of contractual obligations. You will leverage your strong analytical skills and aviation knowledge to navigate risks and maintain efficient transaction timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage acquisitions, leases, and modifications of aircraft
• Negotiate contracts ensuring financial benefits
• Coordinate with maintenance and flight operations teams
• Handle aircraft redelivery and condition assessments
• Communicate and manage transaction risk timelines
Requirements:
• At least 8 years in the airline sector
