**Position Purpose**
+ Responsible for the timely, courteous, and competent transportation of patients from the Emergency Center to other departments via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed. Receives assignments for specific trips and associated tasks from Manager and/or Dispatchers. Delivers and retrieves transport equipment throughout the hospital, as directed by the charge nurse when asked. Participates in cleaning and inspection of wheelchairs and stretchers. Accepts additional assignments related to the Emergency Center as is needed to provide service excellence to patients, visitors, and hospital staff. Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
