Job Description
AI Technical Product Owner
The AI Technical Product Owner will have genuine authority over what the AI models do and genuine credibility with the engineering team that builds them.
You will work with experienced ML engineers, optimisation specialists, and energy market analysts.
You Will:
- Convert energy market requirements into AI/ML specifications the engineering team can implement.
- Be the first person to say when a model output does not make commercial sense - and explain why.
- Define, prioritise, and validate the AI/ML product requirements for the VPP platform (Virtual Power Platform) - ensuring that the models the engineering team builds are grounded in real energy market mechanics and produce outputs that are commercially actionable.
