Job Description
Contribute to quality food service at AHS as a Food Service I in Fairview Health Complex. You'll prepare, serve, and maintain food service standards while delivering excellent customer service to residents.
The Food Service I role is a casual/relief position that requires you to prepare and serve food under the supervision of the Food Services Supervisor. This position should be filled by someone independent, as you will make decisions without constant oversight. Your responsibilities will include food assembly, meal delivery, sanitation, and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Portion and package food items adhering to guidelines
• Deliver and serve meals to Long Term Care residents
• Keep serving areas and equipment clean and sanitary
• Participate in cash handling and inventory tasks
• Operate food service machinery required for daily tasks
