Our client close to Heathrow is looking to recruit an Aerospace Operator Job summary: The position is focused on ensuring we meet our customers expectations by providing excellent customer service including customs clearances, quotes, arranging shipments, invoicing and all other functions as required. The candidate should be prepared to be involved multi modal activities as required and provide support to the supervisor during holiday and absent periods from the office. The role is mainly Exports, Imports is Road from Europe knowledge of T1's is beneficial. Key Activities: Remain in contact with customers and suppliers to maintain relationships Be a part of the on-call rota contracted to a 1 in 3 weeks basis Cost control Completion of end-to-end forwarding activities as the individual role requires Follow strict and time sensitive SOPs/KPIs to ensure compliance Work closely with internal and external customers Focus on customer service Use of CargoWise/MS office as requested Ensure inv...
