Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

The Project Payroll Administrator supports the accurate and timely processing of project-based payroll and timekeeping activities. Reporting to the Project Payroll Supervisor, with dotted line reporting to the Project Finance Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring data integrity, compliance with company policies and applicable collective agreements, and effective coordination between field teams, payroll, and finance.

What You’ll Do Here

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date timekeeping records, performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of payroll operations
  • Responsible for the Time and Attendance System including employee onboarding, offboarding and crew maintenance
  • Perform payroll duties such as verifying and submitting all timesheets, audit reports, preparing new employee packages and termination/layoff forms, rate changes, and travel and board calculations
