Administrative Support/Health Unit Aide
Multisite; responsible for clerical and administrative support in health unit settings, including maintaining inventories, booking appointments, gathering client information, and conducting vision and hearing screenings for preschool and schoolโaged children.
Job Responsibilities
Reports to the manager or designate (and Audiologist for hearing screening duties). Supports the program by performing duties such as maintaining inventories of supplies, booking appointments, gathering client information, scheduling and conducting vision and/or hearing screening for children in school or clinic settings.
Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience
Grade 12, Medical Office Assistant Certificate, and Office Administration Certificate, plus one year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
