:RESPONSIBILITIES
Adjunct faculty members must have knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques appropriate to effective teaching in undergraduate courses as well as teaching in computer labs. Adjuncts are also expected to have knowledge of ways to instruct, manage, motivate and evaluate students as well as the ability to write syllabi and follow course plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
Masters in a specified discipline from an accredited college or university. Doctorate preferred.
Industrial experience in software engineering, information technology or information systems is desired.
Commitment to teaching excellence required. A minimum of one year teaching experience in higher education preferred. We have an adult degree completion program in information technology so are seeking some candidates with experience teaching adult learners.
