Job Summary

Pre-licensure BSN Program Adjunct Instructor

Adjunct faculty members are employed to provide specific courses on an as-needed basis. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester/term basis. Adjunct Instructors hold the responsibility for the courses taught. Adjunct Instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course taught to counsel students regarding course work. Adjunct Instructors may teach no more than 8 semester hours per semester.Adjunct postings are intended to serve as a means of accumulating an applicant pool for prospective Adjunct Instructors. Applications will be reviewed as positions become available. Applications may remain active for an extended period of time as the department pulls applicants from the pool to serve in positions on an as-needed basis.
