Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a small, collaborative team in Cleveland, Ohio on a Contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with solid accounts payable experience who can manage invoice processing with accuracy, support timely vendor payments, and work effectively in an in-office environment. The position focuses on purchase order-driven payables and requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and comfort working with established accounting systems.
Responsibilities:
• Process a high volume of vendor invoices by reviewing documentation, assigning accurate account codes, and entering transactions into the accounting system.
• Reconcile invoices against purchase orders and receiving records to complete three-way matching and resolve discrepancies before payment.
• Administer payment activity through ACH and check runs while helping ensure vendors are paid correctly and on schedule.
