Job Description
Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a manufacturing organization in Victor, New York. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, accurate, and comfortable handling a steady volume of invoices and payment activity. The person in this role will help keep accounts payable records current, ensure timely disbursements, and maintain strong documentation practices across the payment cycle.
Responsibilities:
• Review incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval before entering them into the accounts payable system.
• Assign correct account codes to invoices and supporting documents to ensure expenses are recorded appropriately.
• Process vendor invoices in a timely manner while maintaining organized payment records and documentation.
• Prepare and support scheduled check runs, confirming payment details and resolving discrepancies before release.
