Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Accounting Technicians perform a variety of accounting oriented technical support through analysis and evaluation of accounting data. Positions to be filled within the Directorate of Finance Accounts Payable, Disbursing, Travel and Accounts Receivable/Debt Management Branches. Responsibilities Receive and review source documents to verify the accuracy and completeness of accounting data and mathematical accuracy. Determine necessary processing actions for a wide variety of accounting transactions. Enter data into accounting systems. Correct invalid/incorrect entries.
